The news was provided by his family who are currently in mourning of their beloved. Beverly was a singer and songwriter who blessed his audience with many hit songs including “If That’s What You Wanted” and “Before I Let Go”.

How did Frankie Die?

Born in September 1946, Beverly was 77 at the time of his death. In the post announcing the tragic news of Beverly’s death, his family made no mention of the cause behind it. Although the cause behind his death is currently unknown, there have been many speculations surrounding Frankie’s health problems.

Debunking the rumors of Frankie’s cancer

Some fans claim that the singer was diagnosed with cancer which ultimately led to his death. However, after detailed research, no basis behind the rumors could be found. In fact, in a recent interview with BlackDoctor, Frankie stated that he took his health seriously. He also explicitly said, “I’ve never had any cancer or anything like that”.

Frankie further explained that he often dealt with throat problems but found it normal with the strenuous singing he did. Answering queries about being in the field for so long, Beverly stated that he believed he was made for this. He further believed that “Longevity is a gift”. Although he believed in his talent and passion, Frankie credited God for his success and for keeping his music in the continuous limelight.

Beverly kept track of the food he ate and also exercised regularly. He repeatedly emphasized the fact that he took his health seriously.

Beverly’s fame made a sharp incline after Beyonce famously covered his song titled “Before I Let Go”. He further stated how he felt valued and cherished with one of the leading singers in the US covering his song.
