After the sudden spread of rumors regarding the popular actor, Tom Selleck’s death, his fans became concerned and began to inquire about the source of the news. Earlier, Radar Online reported that the actor has been suffering from arthritis for a long time. Therefore, this was guessed to be the cause behind the rumors. Now the question is whether the 80s icon, Tom Selleck has passed away.

Has Tom Selleck Passed Away?

There is no truth in the rumors surrounding Selleck’s death. The speculations began from fake Facebook posts and YouTube videos in which Selleck’s death was falsely announced. However, the news was quickly debunked with several posts that announced, “Tom Selleck is not dead.” The post further stated, “It was a hoax.”

The previous year, Radar Online reported that the actor had been suffering from “crippling arthritis” and that he was in “constant pain.” Furthermore, they claimed that the pain was so severe that Selleck had to use a stunt double to perform his scenes in the popular TV series titled “Blue Bloods”. The Radar Online article further asserted that Selleck was “in a lot of pain and agony.”

Selleck’s representatives strongly denied the news of his ill health.

However, in September 2024, Selleck was photographed spotting scars on both his knees. This led the public to believe that the actor underwent knee surgery. Selleck’s representatives have not yet confirmed the news of his surgery.

According to an anonymous source, “Selleck is pushing himself too hard.” The source further said that the actor is engaging in physical activities such as repairing his house, lifting, and climbing, that a guy his age should not take part in.
