Jordan Mason’s College, Georgia Tech Shaped Him For Future Career In Football
49ers player, Jordan Mason is an American football player who has managed to impress the fans with his statistics in a short span of his career. Signing as a free agent in 2022, he has already proven himself with his talent on the field. Mason recently made the headlines after he lost his cool with a reporter in a post-match conference.
Jordan Mason’s College
Mason went to Georgia Tech which plays a massive role in his career. During all four years of his undergrad, he played football and was the star player of his team. Initially, Mason played for Georgia Tech’s famous team, the Yellow Jackets but soon shifted teams to Georgia Bulldogs.
Mason was noticed during his freshman year during which he scored 7 touchdowns, and carried for almost 670 yards during 108 passes. During that year, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry which highly impressed his coaches who persuaded him to go pro.
During the last two years of college, Mason unfortunately went through a dry spell in his football matches because of which he wasn’t invited to the NFL combine. However, luckily, Mason performed well during the pro day and made an impression on the professional coaches with his 40-yard dash in just 4.58 seconds.

Jordan Mason Got “Mad” At Reporters
Mason got in trouble with the NFL after he unintentionally revealed some information on TV. Answering the question of ESPN reporter, Lisa Salters, Mason revealed that he was informed that he was going to play for his team on “maybe Friday night”. He substituted for an injured player, Christian McCaffrey.
The NFL is very particular in its rules about being informed of player’s injuries. After his unintentional revelation, the NFL found out that the team concealed details of McCaffrey’s injury and failed to report his substitution.
