In an interview with Gala, Adjani admitted to using resources to stay young. Although she declined to have heavy surgeries done, she did accept having Botox injections to make her look younger. She also indicated “using anything” that would contribute to her looking younger. One of her favorite products to fill wrinkles and lines on her face is hyaluronic acid, however, she did warn her followers to only use it in small doses.

As a result of her efforts, Adjani is labeled as the most beautiful actress of her generation. However, many disagree calling her face “frozen” because of the countless surgeries.

Adjani’s recent appearances in magazines like Harper’s Bazaar have led to people questioning her beauty. This comes after she is said to be maintaining a low profile wearing large glasses and scarves covering her face.

Isabelle Adjani was labeled as a ‘fraud’

This is not the first time Adjani has received a negative spotlight. Earlier, she was accused of tax evasion and ultimately found herself in hot waters with law enforcement. According to Variety, Isabelle was reprimanded for not paying €250,000 in tax payments to the Paris government. Instead, she acquired permanent residency in Portugal in the year 2016. Adjani was further accused of transferring €120,000 into an offshore bank account in the US and later to Portugal in an attempt to hide it from her government.

In what is known as one of the most famous trials, Adjani declined to show up to court during her trial citing “acute illness”. However, the judge refused her any leniency and declared the verdict against her.

Found guilty of tax evasion and money laundering, Adjani received a 2-year suspended prison sentence and was also slapped with a hefty fine.

Isabelle Adjani is the only actress to receive the Cesar Award four times; all in the ‘Best Actress’ category celebrating her acting talent. Adjani also created history by being the youngest nominee for The Academy Award when she was just 20 years old. One of the key highlights of Adjani’s celebrations includes being made a Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honor which honored her legacy.
