Sonal Monteiro’s Sisters Greatly Support Her In Her Acting Career.

Sonal Monteiro is a celebrated Indian actress widely known for her acting skills. For the majority of her career era, she acted in the Kannada cinema industry (Sandalwood). She then stepped into the Bollywood industry after gaining a lot of fame. She stepped into this career by winning beauty contests and now years later, she serves as a jury for them. Monteiro is widely appreciated by the fans for her acting prowess.

 Sonal Monteiro was born on August 11, 1995. While her father’s name is unknown, her mother is Lita Monteiro. Sonal did her graduation from the St. Agnes College in Mangalore. While she was still in college, she began to take an interest in the modeling industry and tried her hand at a variety of opportunities. in 2013, she participated in and won the ‘Miss Beautiful Smile’ competition which gave her a much-needed boost to turn modelling from her hobby into a career. The same year, she appeared in the song, ‘Anjea Sarkhen Chedun’ in the Konkani Music Album which was released on YouTube. Her popularity widely increased with the release of this.

Sonal has two sisters, Sharon Monteiro and Sharal Monteiro who are great supporters of hers in her career.

Monteiro made her debut in acting with the film with the film ‘Ekka Saka’ which is in Tulu language. She managed to get a lead role in this film. After the success of this film, Sonal then acted in ‘Jai Tulunad’ and then in ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’ which is a rom-com film. This film, like the ones before also became popular amongst the audience. In 2018, she did multiple films including ‘Abhusaarike’and ‘MLA’ which is a comedy series in the Tulu language.

After gaining success in the Kannada film industry, Monteiro stepped into Bollywood and signed ‘Saajan Chale Sasuraal 2’which is a sequel to the movie originally made in 1996 by director, David Dhawan. Given the massive fame of part 1, the second part was released on fans’ repeated requests.

In the Kannada cinema, her two movies, ‘Gaalipata 2’ and ‘Buddivantha 2’ are currently being made. Monteiro’s film, ‘Panchatantra’ by Yogaraj Bhat was a massive hit and more people began to know her after this. In 2021, her film ‘Roberrt’ was released which verified people’s claims of her incredible acting skills.

Having had success in many beauty pageants herself, Monteiro now serves as a Jury for many of those. Apart from her acting career, Sonal was appointed as the Director of a company titled ‘Fashion ABCD’. She oversees the production of fashion events and also assumes the role of managing celebrities’ profiles.

The duo met during the shooting of ‘Roberrt’ in 2021 and felt an instant connection with one another. The couple got married on August 11. Before their wedding, Sudhir announced the special news via his Twitter account sharing their picture together in color co-ordinated outfits. He wrote a romantic caption stating that he now gets to direct his love story now with the love of his life, Sonal Monteiro.

Sonal also shared the same picture on her Instagram with somewhat of the same caption stating that she now gets to star in her love story.

Although not a lot of details are revealed about her wedding, Times Now reported that it took place in Bengaluru, India. It is further reported that Sudhir’s close friend Darshan Srinivas is making efforts to attend the wedding while in jail. He is expected to request special permission to attend. Tharun explained earlier that although it is unclear if Srinivas would be able to attend, he has already sought his blessings.
