Ace Ashford was a celebrated rodeo roper. His name is widely recognized as one of the best rodeo ropers. His love for the cowboy life comes from his parents who also belong to the same rodeo world. Ace followed in his parent’s footsteps with the decision to professionally compete in rodeos. His parents, Troy and Jamie took part in the competitions professionally and also promoted a stallion called Traffic Guy. His older brother, Ross Ashford also served to be an inspiration for Ace by competing in famous rodeos, the most notable one being in Las Vegas. Ross had also qualified for the Nationals Finals Qualifier.

Ace’s career path was already set as he was awarded a scholarship by the Hill College in exchange for being on their rodeo team. He was just weeks away from attending the college.
