Ugandan TikTok star who went viral with the name Tenge Tenge has become an internet sensation. He uses the song called ‘Tengelele’ in his videos in which he and his friends can be seen dancing. The kid earns money via endorsement deals and also receives donations from the viewers via a GoFundMe page. His videos on TikTok have garnered more than 100 million likes. In recent days, news about the death of Rango Tenge Tenge has been rampant. Read further to know the truth behind the speculations.
Rango Tenge Tenge’s Viral Video
The TikTok sensation’s real name is Saad Sozzi. The kid rose to fame after uploading a video in 2023 in which he enthusiastically danced to the song, Tengelele which repeatedly uses the word ‘tenge’. The video quickly went viral amassing over 100 million views. People used the song to recreate their own videos of dancing. This created a trend and the original track was used over ten thousand times in a very short span. Rango’s TikTok account has managed to get around 8 million followers and 100 million likes. He also has more than 2 million followers on instagram.

Tik Toker Tenge Tenge’s Parents
Saad (Tenge Tenge) has made his parents proud with his online presence. In an interview, his father stated that his son deserved to get fame because of his funny personality. He further revealed that he was famous for being notorious in his school because of making others laugh during class. Saad’s father, Edrisa Kikomeko is very appreciative of his son and revealed his helpful personality.

Kikomeko stated that his kid had been thinking of ways to make money since he was 3. Rango used to collect remnants around his community and sell the useful fragments. Kikomeko also expressed his gratitude to the Wembley Mo Foundation for teaching him dance moves and enhancing his skills that impressed the world.
Tenge Tenge Is Heavily Criticized For His Looks
The kid receives a lot of hate comments from people making fun of his looks. They also claim for him to be disabled. However, his fans quickly come to his defense chastising the haters and reminding them that he is just a kid.

Comedian, MC Mariachi landed himself in hot waters after he joked about Tenge Tenge’s looks. His father, Kikomeko took it as a joke and asked people to do the same. He also clarified that his son is perfectly normal and has no disability. However, Rango’s mother did not share the same stance and was not so happy with the jokes over her son’s looks. She slammed the comedian and labeled him as “insensitive” for trolling a kid over his looks.
She explained that the trolling would only feed to her son’s insecurity towards his looks. She also revealed that when Rango was younger, he prayed to God for different eyes, unhappy with the ones he had. Therefore, she asked people to be kind with their words.
Rango’s Brand Endorsements
Tenge Tenge’s increasing fame has earned him various mega deals. One prominent one includes Zamelect Properties who operate in Dubai. Another Dubai-based company, Zamzam Electronics hired him to endorse their Telecommunications company. They also sponsored his flight and stay giving him a luxurious welcome. Tenge Tenge is now rumored to be a millionaire.

Tenge Tenge’s fame has some cons too; one of them being the constant negative news surrounding him. His death is one such news that people often falsely speculate.
