Popular singer and songwriter, Lana Del Rey has found herself in the midst of a family drama with her dating choice. She is rumored to be dating an alligator tour guide, Jeremy Dufrene. Lana was seen holding hands with him at a concert and the duo was also spotted shopping together. Their hangouts together have fueled the rumors further. However, Jeremy’s family does not seem accepting of the new relationship with his daughter slamming him on social media.

Who is Lana Del Rey’s Boyfriend, Jeremy Dufrene?

Dufrene is a boat captain who originally hails from Louisiana and currently works with the company, Arthur’s Airboat Tours. He works as a tour guide, showing tourists the way through swamps and guiding them about local creatures such as alligators. Previously, he earned his living by working at a chemical plant but soon realized that being a tour guide suited him better.

Earlier, TMZ posted a video showing Dufrene being cozy with alligators. He could be seen even inviting them on his boat and asking for a kiss. The tourists went berserk when Dufrene started feeding the gator so enthusiastically.

Del Rey And Dufrene’s Alleged Relationship Timeline

The duo met several years ago when Dufrene was still committed to his wife. In 2019, Lana took an airboat tour in which Dufrene was the captain. After their meeting, she posted a picture on Facebook which she captioned asking Jeremy to let her be the caption for once. Dufrene also shared a picture with Lana to his instagram, that he has now made private, and wrote underneath that he never knows who he can run into at his job and expressed his pleasure at meeting the singer.

Dufrene’s tours are famous among other celebrities too. A few years ago, Glen Powell posted a picture on his Instagram with Dufrene in an airboat. The caption stated that they were both currently single and for people to find them at the “swamp”.

In May 2024, Lana posted a picture with her siblings to her Instagram giving Dufrene a shout-out in the caption. In the post, she called him “my guy”. This was the start of the speculations of the two dating.

In August 2024, a fan posted a video of them holding hands at the Leeds Festival on TikTok. They were spotted together the same day that Lana performed at the festival. Fans report that they spotted the duo shopping together and eating out in England.

Jeremy Dufrene’s Daughter

Dufrene has 3 children, two daughters and a son, from his previous marriage. One of his daughters with the username, Xae took to Twitter to publicly reveal details of their family drama. She expressed her shock about the news and stated that she found out about her father’s relationship with the popular singer via social media.

She further revealed that her father does not understand technology much and is unaware of him going viral on social media. She said that her father was surprised at her for finding out about his relationship, not knowing about his increasing fame online.

She expressed her disappointment at the situation and further disclosed that her mother is threatening to sue Dufrene. She also shared a screenshot of a text conversation with her dad, asking if he had something to tell her. Dufrene, on the other hand, seemed calm as a cucumber about the entire situation and simply replied that he was going to tell her soon.

His daughter also revealed that he had just left her mother only a few weeks ago. It seems like Dufrene’s family is not so accepting of his new relationship.
